Nema Type 1 Telephone Cabinet

Application

EPI NEMA Type 1 and 3r Telephone Cabinets are used for control cabinets and instrument cases in areas that do not require oil tight characteristics

Construction

Cabinets are flush, surface, and/or rain tight. Bodies are made from 18, 16, or 14 gauge steel. Fronts are made from 14 gauge steel. Covers have continuous piano hinges and are held closed by a flush paddle latch.

Finish

The standard finish is ANSI-70 light dove gray painted enamel finish inside and out.

Accessories

Optional key-locking cylinder lock and hasp for padlocking. Interior panels: wood or steel.

Standards

Conform to the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 1 (General Purpose) enclosures.
