NEMA 12 JIC, Screw Cover Wireway from epi-Enclosures

Application

EPI NEMA Type 12 JIC, Screw Cover Wireways are designed to protect the wiring from dust, dirt, oil, and water.

Construction

Made from 16 and 14 gauge steel. All seams are continuously welded and there are no holes or knockouts. Each cover has an oil-resistant gasket attached with oil-resistant adhesive. The cover fastens with self-tapping hex head screws for a complete seal between the covers and bodies. External feet can be provided for mounting.

Finish

The standard finish is ANSI-70 light dove gray inside and out.

Standards

Meets National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 12 (Industrial Use) enclosures. Also conforms to the Joint Industrial Council (JIC) standard EGP-1-1967. UL870.
