| ConstructionThese enclosures are made from .125 5052H Quarter Hard Aluminum sheets. There are no holes or knockouts. A lip is provided on three sides of the door, increasing strength and preventing dirt and liquids from dropping into the enclosure. The neoprene door gasket is attached with oil resistant adhesive. The door clamps are quick and easy to operate, and have no loose parts. Exterior clamps, clamp screws, and hinge pin are stainless steel. A hasp and staple are provided for padlocking. Body stiffeners and door stiffeners are provided in larger enclosures for extra rigidity. External feet are provided for mounting.FinishThe standard finish is 5052H Quarter Hard Aluminum Sheets.AccessoriesPanels must be ordered separately as they are not furnished. Floor stand kits in 6, 12, 18, and 24-inch heights are available for factory installation on all single door NEMA 4 enclosures. Drip shield kits protect the door hardware from dripping water and settling dust.StandardsThese enclosures meet the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standard for Type 4 (Industrial Use) enclosures.
